The quality we devote special attention to is achieved to a great extent through accurate and reliable chemical analysis and mechanical tests of metal conducted in the in-house laboratories.

The IOMZ JSC's laboratories are fitted with the state-of-the-art equipment and assessed for compliance with international standard ISO/IEC 17025-2019.

History

A patent for bar products made of iron- and chromium-based material was secured allowing us to offer this steel grade to our customers 30 % cheaper as compared to the foreign counterparts.
The amount of investments in the plant development exceeded 1 billion roubles.

A new «Manufacture of Heavy-Duty Fasteners Made of Alloys for Oil and Gas Industry» investment project was launched with the support of the Industrial Development Fund (IDF).

The plant was awarded with «For Quality Assurance Achievements» and «For Excellence in Quality» badges of honour.
A «100 Best Products of Russia» nation-wide competition certificate was awarded for heavy-duty fasteners made of nickel-based Alloy K-500.
IOMZ became a laureate of the «100 Best Products of Russia» nation-wide competition for shafts for electrical submersible motors made of steel 18KhGNFT and spline couplings made of nickel-based Alloy K-500.
A «Bringing the Process of Hot Plastic Deformation of Billets Made of Corrosion-Resistant Alloys to a Commercial Level» investment project was launched and another agreement with the IDF was signed.
Another all-time high monthly volume of production of structural pipes at the pipe production facility was achieved.

The plant was awarded with an "Employer of Choice" badge for the 10th time, based on results of the annual study conducted by the SuperJob portal.
The pipe production facility for the first time achieved an all-time high volume of production of structural pipes equal to 1,000 tonnes a month.
The second concessional loan agreement was signed with the Industrial Development Fund (IDF) for implementation of the "Bringing the Process of Piercing and Rolling of Billets Made of Corrosion-Resistant Steel Grades from In-House Melted Billets to a Commercial Level" investment project.

The plant personnel were put up on the board of honour of the Udmurt Republic.
IOMZ took part in the "Work Performance and Job Support" nation-wide project and an agreement of relationship with the Government of the Udmurt Republic was signed.
A. Yu. Kuznetsov, General Director of IOMZ JSC, was awarded with a Certificate of Appreciation of the Ministry for Industry and Trade of the UR for dedicated work and noticeable contribution to the enterprise development.
A State Award of the Udmurt Republic was received for bringing the process of manufacture of sucker rods with rod couplings and wellhead rods to a commercial level.
A first-aid station was arranged within the plant's territory.

A closed-cycle manufacture of own import-substituting nickel-containing alloys was mastered, which allowed the plant to stop using the imported alloys.
The 5,000th tonne of rolled metal products was produced at the metallurgical production facility of the plant.
A metallographic laboratory was established at the plant, to test and make analysis of metal microstructure, determine mechanical characteristics, conduct comprehensive testing of metals and alloys.

IOMZ became an open joint company.

15 years since the plant establishment.
A chemical laboratory was established at the plant, to make analysis of structural, tool, corrosion-resistant and special steel grades and alloys.
The first tonnes of products were received from rolling mills at the metallurgical production facility.

A metallurgical production facility was established.
The own boiler house that provided the plant itself and the neighbouring microdistrict where a child day-care centre, a school, a secondary technical school, and eleven apartment buildings were located with heat and hot water was reconstructed.

IOMZ joined the union of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Udmurt Republic (registration No. 337/196).
The plant was awarded with an honorary diploma of the best exporter in the Udmurt Republic for development of the republic-wide export production, invaluable contribution to expansion of foreign economic relations, and enhancement of the global image of the Udmurt Republic.

The plant won the "Best Investor of the Udmurt Republic in 2012" competition.

The IOMZ trademark was registered.

A 10-year anniversary since the IOMZ establishment.
A "Corrosion-Resistant Alloy Based on Fe-Cr-Ni, Products Made Thereof, and the Product Manufacturing Process" invention patent No. 2441089 was secured.

IOMZ became a laureate of a first-class award of the President of the Udmurt Republic in the field of quality.

A "100 Best Products of Russia" nation-wide competition certificate was awarded for bars with special surface finish made of corrosion-resistant steel 05Kh16N4D2B and shafts for electrical submersible pump (ESP) units made of high-strength and low-alloy steel grades..

Освоен замкнутый цикл производства собственных импортозамещающих никельсодержащих сплавов, что позволило заводу отказаться от их импорта.
На Металлургическом производственном комплексе завода состоялся выпуск 5000-й тонны металлопроката.
Создание Металлографической лаборатории на территории завода, где производится оценка макроструктуры металла, анализ микроструктуры, определение механических характеристик, комплексные исследования металлов и сплавов.

A "High-Strength Stainless Steel" invention patent No. 2243286 was secured.

The first patent was secured, specifically, a "Corrosion-Resistant Steel" invention patent No. 2215815.

A line for manufacture of shafts for electrical submersible pumps for petroleum production was launched.

The plant started its commercial operations.
